# Lender and investor pack template

> This free PowerPoint template lays out a quarterly pack for lenders and investors in twelve slides: a covenant summary with headroom, the workings behind each covenant, a sensitivity to a fall in EBITDA, the trend over five quarters, and the quarterly results, net debt and results by company. Every figure is an example from a fictional group and is marked as one.

## How to use it

1. **Replace the example figures** with your own. Tables and charts are editable; right-click a chart and choose Edit Data.
2. **Copy the covenant definitions** from your facility agreement, one row for each covenant, with the clause number.
3. **Check headroom:** the fall in the measure that reaches the limit, in money and as a percentage.
4. **Check that figures agree across slides:** net debt, cash, EBITDA and group revenue.
5. **Remove the EXAMPLE FIGURES tags** when every number is your own, and delete the last slide.

## Who is it for?

Group CFOs and finance controllers who report to a bank or to investors every quarter, and the advisers who prepare the pack. The numbers come from the same consolidated figures as your monthly board pack: see the [group board pack template](/blog/resources/group-board-pack-template/). When producing the pack by hand takes days, [Finconsol builds the group figures and the pack from the same data](https://finconsol.com/group-reporting-software/).

## Questions

**Which covenants does it show?**

Three examples: leverage (net debt to EBITDA), interest cover and minimum liquidity. Replace them with the covenants in your own agreement and use its definitions.

**What is headroom?**

The distance between the actual measure and the limit. The pack shows it as the fall in EBITDA, or in liquidity, that would reach the limit, in money and as a percentage.

**Can I change the colours and fonts?**

Yes. The pack uses Georgia for titles and Calibri for text, with an ink colour (101729) and an accent (3651E7). Change them in the shapes and charts, or apply your own theme.

**Are the figures real?**

No. They come from a fictional group and are marked as examples on every slide.

**Does it work in Google Slides or Keynote?**

Yes. Open the file in either program and check the charts after opening.
