# Group board pack template

> This free PowerPoint template lays out a monthly group board pack in twelve slides: summary, profit and loss against budget and latest estimate, cash, balance sheet, results by company, KPIs, intercompany and open items, risks and decisions. Every figure is an example from a fictional group and is marked as one.

## How to use it

1. **Replace the example figures** with your own. Tables and charts are editable; right-click a chart and choose Edit Data.
2. **Rewrite each title** as a sentence that says what happened, with a number.
3. **Check that figures agree across slides:** the cash total, the net assets and the group revenue.
4. **Remove the EXAMPLE FIGURES tags** when every number is your own, and delete the last slide.

## Who is it for?

Group CFOs and finance controllers who present a monthly pack to a board or to owners, and accounting firms that prepare one for a client. The figures in the pack come from the group templates on this blog: [the group budget](/blog/resources/group-budget-template/), [the intercompany reconciliation](/blog/resources/intercompany-reconciliation-template/) and [the translation reserve workbook](/blog/resources/translation-reserve-workbook/). When producing the pack by hand takes more than a day, [Finconsol builds the group figures and the pack from the same data](https://finconsol.com/group-reporting-software/).

## Questions

**Which fonts does it use?**

Georgia for titles and Calibri for text. Both are installed with Microsoft Office and on most computers.

**Can I change the colours?**

Yes. The pack uses an ink colour (101729) and an accent (3651E7). Change them in the shapes and charts, or apply your own theme.

**Are the figures real?**

No. They come from a fictional group and are marked as examples on every slide.

**Does it work in Google Slides or Keynote?**

Yes. Open the file in either program and check the charts after opening.
