Many companies. One clear picture.

Finconsol is financial consolidation software for groups of companies. It turns the books of every company into one set of group accounts: currencies translated, intercompany removed, every adjustment recorded, and every figure traceable to the company it came from.

  • Zoho Books
  • Xero
  • QuickBooks
  • Excel or any other system

Connects to Zoho Books. Works with Xero, QuickBooks, or any system that exports a trial balance.

The Zenvara group: Zenvara Group Ltd in the UK owns four subsidiaries in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Germany, the Singapore company at 80 percent. Each company's revenue is translated into pounds and flows to the group. 81,000 pounds of intercompany fees is removed from both sides. The consolidated profit and loss for September 2026: revenue 2,980,840, costs 2,283,802, net profit 697,038, of which 682,998 belongs to the owners of the group and 14,040 to minority shareholders, all in pounds.

Finconsol in three minutes

How Finconsol consolidates a group of companies: books in from Zoho Books or a trial balance, one group chart of accounts, statistics alongside the money, currencies translated, the entries that remove intercompany prepared for you, and your own KPIs, dashboards and reports.

Every company closes. The group doesn't.

Each company in the group finishes its month end on time. Turning their books into group accounts is where the days go.

Your team knows how to consolidate. The spreadsheet is what slows them down.

  1. Day 1Trial balances are exported from five companies, kept on three different systems.
  2. Days 2 to 3Accounts are re-mapped in a workbook. A new account opened in one company drops out and nobody notices.
  3. Day 4Exchange rates are looked up by hand. The balance sheet does not balance, so the difference is plugged.
  4. Days 5 to 7Intercompany balances do not agree. Emails go back and forth, and meanwhile fees and loans are counted twice.
  5. Day 8Group adjustments are typed into the workbook. Nothing is locked, and there is no record of who changed what.
  6. Day 9Each company's budget sits in its own file. Actuals are pasted next to it and every variance is worked out again.
  7. Days 10 to 12The board pack is built by hand. Then a late correction moves the numbers after the board has read them.

One place for the group close

The same month end, with each step handled where the group's numbers live.

  1. Day 1Exporting trial balances

Every company comes in on its own

Zoho Books companies come in every night, read-only. Every other company comes in by a trial balance upload, checked before it is used.

  2. Days 2 to 3Re-mapping accounts

Accounts mapped once, new ones caught

Each company's accounts are mapped once to one group chart. A new account that is not mapped stops the month and is named, so nothing drops out.

  3. Day 4Looking up rates

The right rate for every line

Each company is translated into the group's currency at closing, average and historical rates. The translation reserve is worked out, so the balance sheet balances.

  4. Days 5 to 7Chasing intercompany

    Intercompany compared and removed

Each intercompany pair is compared every month and eliminated. Anything left over stays on the list until it is resolved.

  5. Day 8Untracked adjustments

    Adjustments kept apart, months locked

Group adjustments are journals in Finconsol, apart from the companies' books. Months lock, and every change is recorded.

  6. Day 9Budgets in separate files

    Budgets beside the actuals

Budgets and forecasts for each company and for the group, read against actuals line by line, for the month and the year to date.

  7. Days 10 to 12Rebuilding the board pack

Board packs built once, refreshed every month

Reports, dashboards and board packs are built once and refresh every month. A locked pack keeps the numbers the board read, and every figure traces back to its company and account.

From five sets of books to one set of accounts

The same five steps every month, in one place.

Five company profit and loss statements, in pounds, US dollars, dirhams, Singapore dollars and euros, are translated into pounds. The 81,000 pounds of intercompany fees between Zenvara Group Ltd and Palmridge Hospitality LLC is removed from both. The five combine into one group profit and loss for September 2026: revenue 2,980,840, costs (2,283,802), net profit 697,038, in pounds.

Who it's for

Group finance teams

For CFOs and finance teams who close several companies every month and owe the board one set of numbers.

You may have two companies or twenty, on one accounting system or several, in one country or many. Finconsol keeps the group close in one place, so the work moves from assembling the numbers to reading them.

Your controller maps the accounts once, your companies close as they do today, and the group accounts follow.

Accounting and CA firms

One login, many client groups, each kept separate.

Finconsol for accounting firms

By industry

Each industry gets the figures its board reads, next to the accounts. Pick one.

Control built into the close

The checks your board expects are part of the process, not extra steps after it.

  • Read-only access to your books

Finconsol reads from Zoho Books and never writes back, so your companies keep their own records untouched.

  • Locked months

Once a month is closed it is locked, and a change needs the lock lifted first.

  • A record of every change

Who changed what, and when, is kept for every adjustment, mapping and setting.

  • Statements that check themselves

Every statement ties to the consolidation worksheet, so a figure that does not agree shows up at once.

Live in a day: connect or upload, map, and see your first group accounts the same day.

Questions

What is financial consolidation software?
Financial consolidation software combines the accounts of several companies into one set of group financial statements. It maps each company's accounts to a common chart, translates foreign currencies, removes the balances and transactions between group companies, and applies adjustments. Finconsol does this every month and produces the group balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow and board packs.
Which accounting systems does Finconsol work with?
Finconsol connects to Zoho Books directly. The connection reads your books without changing them, and refreshes every night. Xero, QuickBooks and any other system come in by trial balance upload, and direct connections for Xero and QuickBooks are coming soon. A group can mix both, with some companies connected and others uploaded.
Do we have to change how each company keeps its books?
No. Each company keeps its own chart of accounts and its own system. You map its accounts to the group chart once, and Finconsol uses that mapping every month. If a new account appears in a company and has not been mapped, the month stops and the account is named.
How does Finconsol handle different currencies?
Each company is translated into the group's single reporting currency. Finconsol uses closing, average and historical rates, and works out the translation reserve so the group balance sheet balances. Rates are suggested from published reference rates, and you can change any of them.
How are intercompany balances removed?
Finconsol compares what each company holds against the other, pair by pair, every month. The smaller side of each pair is eliminated as an entry in Finconsol, apart from the companies' books. Anything left over stays on the list until it is resolved.
Can we include non-financial figures like headcount?
Yes. Statistical accounts hold figures such as headcount, units, stores or rooms. You can enter them in a grid, upload them, or have other systems send them automatically. They can then be used in KPIs, such as revenue per head or cost per unit, next to the financial figures.
Can we compare the group against budget?
Yes. You can keep budgets and latest estimates for each company or for the group, in versions, entered in a grid or uploaded. Finconsol reads them against actuals and shows whether each line is ahead or behind, for the month and the year to date.
How long does it take to get started?
A group can be live in a day. You connect Zoho Books or upload trial balances, map each company to the group chart, and see your first group accounts the same day. Later months follow the same steps, with Zoho Books companies refreshing every night.
